ACCREDITATION AWARD CEREMONY & NEW EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT TREND FORUM
In this new era, universities and colleges are faced with sustainable development challenges in higher education environment. In order to respond to current trends and boost performance of the “Accreditation of Degree-granting Programs Project”, TWAEA organized the “Accreditation Award Ceremony & New Education Development Trend Forum” on 7th June 2017.
The activity was chaired by Dr. Shen-Li Fu, chairman of TWAEA. In this event, it was our great honor to have Paul S.C. Hsu, chair professor of Yuan Ze University, to address a keynote speech about “Facing the Challenge of Evaluation 2.0: New Era, New Thought and New Vision”. Dr. Shen-Li Fu also gave a talk on the accreditation and evaluation project implemented by TWAEA. Through keynote speeches and communication among participants with different expertise, the forum inspired higher education institutions in their efforts for positive changes.
During the award ceremony, four departments of Da-Yeh University and one department of were awarded the certificate. The list of departments that successfully passed the accreditation is as follows:
Da-Yeh University:
- Department of Tourism and Travel Management
- Bachelor Program for European Cultures and Tourism
- Bachelor Program for International Professionals in Cultural Creative Industries
- Ph.D. Program of Biotechnology and Industry / Master Program of Biotechnology and Industry
Chung Hua University:
- Continuing Education Bachelor Degree Program, College of Architecture and Design
