DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SCIENCE, NATIONAL OPEN UNIVERSITY, WAS AWARDED THE ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATE
The Department of Social Science, National Open University, has passed the accreditation process, and received the certificate from Dr. Chin-Chi Wu, the former Minister of Education, in the ceremony held on 22nd October 2018. During the ceremony, Dr. Bin-Han Lü, chairman of the Department of Social Science, gave a talk on why and how they applied for this accreditation project. He thought that institution can improve continuously and build on specific strengths with the assistance of accreditation agency.
The “Accreditation of Degree-granting Programs Project” is aimed to assist the institutions to literally practice the missions and objectives to enhance the education quality to have sustainable development through the assessment implemented by the third party after the Ministry of Education stopped implementing the assessment made to departments/programs.
